Happy New Year!

We are kicking off 2025 with our first work day on February 9th from 11am to 3pm! 

As usual, we will have work days every 2nd weekend of the month, generally on Sundays, but be on the lookout for our 2025 schedule - with work weekends and other cool events on the calendar!

During February’s work day we will be clearing invasive shrubbery to make space for the fruit and nut trees that have been growing in our nursery and air prune beds, while sharing our explorations with invasive removal and our plans for restoring the land and having a surplus of food for mutual aid projects. We will also be working on the fen restoration, continuing with the process to try to raise the water level - of course, it makes sense that one of our first restoration projects is to imitate the beaver’s work!

Let us know if you can make it by Friday Feb 7th, please, so we know to expect you & to make sure we have enough food for everyone! Bundle up and if you have loppers, chainsaws or saws, make sure to bring them with you!
