October Work Weekend!

if you love removing invasive species and restoring ecosystems, Wonderland might be the place you wanna be at on October 12-13th!

come for the day or stay overnight camping with us - we will be focusing on community projects from 11am to 3pm on both Saturday and Sunday. we will continue working on our food forest belt - a promise that will feed many! we will also continue our restoration efforts in the fen, and there will be a chance to make a dead hedge, use a scythe and learn about composting toilets.

we acknowledge that these are really hard times with climate disasters, genocides and collapse everywhere... there will be time to take hikes and be in nature and in community to restore yourself and others, if that’s what you need.

please let us know in advance via wonderlandcommunityproject@gmail.com if you can come, so that we know to expect you & make sure to have lunch for everyone!

and please follow these Instagram accounts to stay informed and support those in need in any way you can:
@mutualaiddisasterrelief - Hurricane Helene Relief
@wizard_bisan1 - journalist in Gaza
@rebirthgarments and @dandelion.tea.art - fundraisers for people in Gaza
@so.informed
@theslowfactory

also, don’t forget to save the date for our annual social gathering on October 19th-20th: Wonderfest!
