We are hosting a Collective Grief Retreat on Saturday November 2nd, from 10 to 3. At this retreat we will be focusing on making a large collaborative altar with natural materials. The collaborative altar will focus on the grief felt when fighting oppression. This is for anyone who feels a deep sorrow for what is taking place in Palestine. In Congo. In Sudan. This is for those fighting for trans youth and feeling the loss of so many young lives. This collective altar is a way to express the rage, sadness, creativity and fire needed to build a different world.
And we all face grief in our personal life. Whether it’s processing a break up, loss of friendship, death of a loved one or other matters of heartache our space is open for you to make your own personal altar, to meditate, to scream into the void or take a walk in the woods.
This is a free event. Food, beverages and art supplies are provided. Please RSVP by sending us an email at wonderlandcommunityproject@gmail.com
*Please note that we don’t have running water or indoor structures but we do have a private compost toilet and hand washing station.
